Gasoline and diesel prices both increased overnight in Nova Scotia.
Gasoline prices went up by 3.0-cents per litre, putting the minimum pump price for regular self serve gasoline at 177.2 cents per litre in the local area.
Diesel prices increased by 5.4 cents per litre, putting the minimum pump price for diesel at 173.4 cents per litre locally.

Police in Nova Scotia are warning about a phone scam targeting seniors. They say victims report receiving a phone call from someone who says they are a family member, and that they’ve been arrested.
Another person claiming to be from the legal system then gets involved and says they must be paid in order for the family member to be released from jail.
Police are reminding you to be suspicious of calls or emails asking for money.
The North American Indigenous Games are set to begin this weekend, hosting competitions in 16 sports within 21 venues.
The Games will bring together more than 5,000 athletes, coaches and team staff from about 756 Indigenous Nations.
