The man wanted on a Canada Wide Arrest Warrant for a home invasion last week in New Glasgow Has been arrested.
19 year old William Michael Gilmore was arrested without incident Sunday Night in Brampton Ontario by Peel Regional Police.
New Glasgow Regional Police Major Crime continues to investigate as this file remains active and ongoing.

Nova Scotia will be offering another COVID-19 vaccine booster dose this spring for those at highest risk for severe illness.
Vaccine appointments will be available from March 25 to May 31.
Those eligible include seniors aged 65 or older; those aged 50 or older who identify as Black, African Nova Scotian or First Nations; residents of long-term care; and people who are moderately to severely immunocompromised. There will also be available appointments for those who are not up-to-date on their booster shots, but would like to get one.
Nova Scotia RCMP have released their 2023 numbers for impaired driving.
In 2023, NS RCMP charged 1,511 drivers with impaired related offences.
- 755 were charged with Impaired Operation of a Conveyance by Alcohol
- 85 were charged with Impaired Operation of a Conveyance by Drugs
- 120 were charged with Refusal of a Demand Made by a Peace Officer
- 551 were issued driving suspensions for Operating a Conveyance While Having Consumed Alcohol.
The Northumberland Fisheries Museum and Heritage Association in Pictou are the recipients of a one time grant from the provincial government.
The Emerging Culture and Heritage Incentive Program has granted them $10,000 to develop a financing and action plan to revitalize the museum.
