Special Olympics:
The Special Olympics Youth and Intermediate Floor Hockey Teams had a great day of hockey today! The Intermediate team went 1-1-1 with a 2-0 loss, a 0-0 tie and a 1-0 win! The Youth team went 1-1 with a 5-0 loss and a 2-0 win!
Baseball:
Chris Sale set an MLB record, he pitched 17 strikeouts in 7 innings last night for the Red Sox and they still lost. The second he came off the mound the Colorado Rockies scored 4 runs and would add the winner in the 11th to beat the Red Sox 5-4.
Vladdy Gurerrero Jr knocked the first professional dinger of his career last night against the Giants, then for good measure, he hit his 2nd as the Jays beat San Francisco 7-3.
NBA:
Tonight is game 1 between the Raptors and Milwaukee Bucks to see which team will advance to the NBA Finals.
NHL:
The Boston Bruins have defeated the Carolina Hurricanes 2-1 to take a commanding 3-0 lead in the Eastern Conference Final. Chris Wagner and Brad Marchand (GWG) scored for the Bruins. Calvin de Haan scored for the Hurricanes. Tuukka Rask made 34 saves to earn the win.
Tonight the Sharks and Blues tangle in game 3 of the Western Conference Finals, that series is tied at 1-1.
