PCMBA:

The New Glasgow Sullivan Fuels Bantam AA Baseball team captured the Hants North Invitational this past weekend. The fuel crew defeated Dartmouth Arrows in the championship game 11-3. Adam Farrell went 3 for 4 at the plate, while Gage Connors, Carter Dickson, and Jared Langille each had two hits a piece. Lane Lochead was the winning pitcher going 6 and a third innings while fanning 14 Arrow batters. Jax Graham finished the mound duties for the “Fuel”. In earlier action New Glasgow defeated East Hants 8-0, Truro 4-3, and Hants North in the semi-finals 17-2.

NHL:

The Boston Bruins and St. Louis Blues will be going to game 7! St. Louis had a chance to win the Stanley Cup on home ice but squandered it, they lost 5-1 to the Bruins last night. The final NHL game of the season will be played Wednesday night, one team will be crowned Stanley Cup Champions.

Also, did you catch coaches corner? They did a feature of Oliver Smith from Antigonish, including a few Olibots which he sells to raise money for the Ewings Cancer Foundation of Canada. Which he was diagnosed with back in 2017. They also showed Oliver pumping up the boys from StFX during their championship run this past year, Don Cherry called it the best pre-game speech he’s ever seen.

MLB:

The Blue Jays were hammered last night after the Diamondbacks scored 8 runs in the 3rd inning, it would be the only inning they would score in beating the Jays 8-2.

CFL:

The regular season kicks off this Thursday with a match up between the Saskatchewan Rough Riders and the Hamilton Tiger Cats.

NBA:

Game 5 is tonight in Toronto, the Raptors have a chance to win their first championship in franchise history. The country is about to erupt. That game tips off at 10pm.
