Houston maintains the unregulated sale of marijuana in First Nations communities is illegal. The premier is calling for Mi’kmaw leadership to work with the province towards safer regulated dispensaries.

A great showing for the Northern Subway Selects at the U18 Female Atlantic Hockey Championship over weekend in Charlottetown. They picked up silver, losing a close one, 3-2 to the Moncton Rockets in the gold medal game. The Rockets will now host the 2026 Esso Cup, Canada’s U18 Women’s National Club Championship, April 19-25, and the Subway Selects will represent the Atlantic region at the event.
