A collision in Melrose, New Brunswick near the Confederation Bridge on Tuesday between an Island EMS ambulance from PEI and a transport truck claimed three lives. Two paramedics and the patient they were caring for, all from PEI, died at the scene. The transport truck driver was taken to hospital with serious injuries. The RCMP is investigating the cause of the collision.

Maritime Launch Services says Germany’s Isar Aerospace will build a dedicated complex at its site near Canso for Isar’s launch vehicle, Spectrum. Maritime Launch says Isar will begin construction this year, with plans to launch space missions by 2028. The 10-year deal will see Isar pay Maritime Launch 3.75-million U-S per fiscal quarter once the contract is fully underway.
